This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") has been prepared to describe, in a transparent and comprehensive manner, the categories of personal information we may collect, the purposes for which such information may be processed, the circumstances under which such information may be disclosed, and the rights and choices available to Users with respect to such information.

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or otherwise utilizing the Services in any manner whatsoever, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Policy in their entirety, as such terms and conditions may be amended, supplemented, or otherwise modified by Reclaim.org from time to time in accordance with Section 13 below. This Policy applies to all personal information collected, received, processed, used, retained, or disclosed by Reclaim.org in connection with your access to or use of the Services, regardless of the medium through which such information is provided or obtained. This Policy does not apply to (a) information collected by any third party, including through any third-party application, website, content, or service to which the Services may link or otherwise reference, or (b) information that has been aggregated, anonymized, de-identified, or otherwise rendered such that it cannot reasonably be associated with any identifiable individual.

In the ordinary course of operating the Services, Reclaim.org may collect, receive, and process the following categories of information from or about Users, including without limitation:

3.1 Personal Identifiers. Information that identifies or reasonably could be used to identify a particular individual, including without limitation full legal name, prior or alternative names, current and former residential or mailing addresses, telephone numbers, electronic mail addresses, date of birth, and any unique identifiers we may assign to your account.

3.2 Government-Issued Identifiers. Information necessary to verify identity and process claims for unclaimed assets, including without limitation Social Security numbers, Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers, driver's license numbers, state-issued identification numbers, passport numbers, and copies or images of supporting identification documentation.

3.3 Claim-Related Information. Information submitted in connection with the identification, documentation, substantiation, or recovery of unclaimed assets, including without limitation supporting affidavits, declarations, deeds, court documents, probate records, marriage and death certificates, utility records, financial statements, and any other documentation reasonably necessary or appropriate to support, perfect, or otherwise process a claim.

3.4 Financial Information. Information necessary to facilitate the disbursement of recovered amounts to Users, including without limitation bank account numbers, routing numbers, payment processor identifiers, and any related transactional information.

3.5 Communications. The contents of and metadata associated with any communications between you and Reclaim.org, including without limitation electronic mail correspondence, support tickets, chat messages, telephone communications (which may, where permissible under applicable law, be recorded and retained for quality assurance, training, compliance, and recordkeeping purposes), and any feedback or other information you submit.

3.6 Technical and Usage Information. Information automatically collected when you access or use the Services, including without limitation Internet Protocol addresses, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring and exit pages, pages and content viewed, time and duration of access, clickstream data, and other information regarding your interaction with the Services.

3.7 Information from Third-Party Sources. Information obtained from publicly available sources, governmental and quasi-governmental databases and registries, identity verification and fraud prevention service providers, data enrichment vendors, skip-tracing services, financial institutions, court records, and other third-party sources reasonably necessary or appropriate to facilitate the operation of the Services.


4. Purposes for Which Information May Be Used

Reclaim.org may use the information described in Section 3 above for any one or more of the following purposes, in each case to the extent permitted by applicable law:

(a) to provide, operate, maintain, administer, customize, support, secure, and improve the Services;
(b) to identify, document, substantiate, evaluate, prepare, submit, track, and otherwise process claims for unclaimed assets through our platform;
(c) to verify your identity and authority to submit any given claim, and to detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to potentially fraudulent, unauthorized, or unlawful activity;
(d) to communicate with you regarding your account, your claims, the Services, and any related matters, including without limitation transactional notifications, service announcements, and responses to your inquiries;
(e) to calculate, invoice, collect, and remit fees and disbursements in accordance with our Terms of Use and any applicable claim-specific authorizations;
(f) to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, judicial, governmental, and self-regulatory obligations, requests, demands, subpoenas, court orders, audits, and investigations;
(g) to enforce, protect, and defend the rights, property, safety, interests, and legal positions of Reclaim.org, our Users, and other third parties;
(h) to conduct internal research, analytics, modeling, product development, business planning, and quality assurance;
(i) to send marketing, promotional, educational, and informational communications regarding Reclaim.org and the Services, subject to your right to opt out of such communications at any time; and
(j) for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or to which you have otherwise consented.


5. Circumstances Under Which Information May Be Disclosed

Reclaim.org does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Reclaim.org may, however, disclose information described in Section 3 above in any of the following circumstances, in each case to the extent permitted by applicable law:

5.1 Claim Processing Counterparties. To state unclaimed asset administrators, financial institutions, holders, custodians, courts, governmental agencies, and other third parties as reasonably necessary or appropriate to identify, document, substantiate, submit, perfect, track, or otherwise process claims through our platform.

5.2 Service Providers and Vendors. To third-party service providers, vendors, contractors, consultants, and other agents that perform services on our behalf or otherwise support our business operations, including without limitation hosting, infrastructure, identity verification, document management, electronic signature, mailing, notarization, payment processing, customer support, analytics, marketing, and professional services providers, in each case subject to appropriate contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.

5.3 Affiliates and Related Entities. To our subsidiaries, affiliates, and related entities for purposes consistent with this Policy.

5.4 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures. To governmental, regulatory, judicial, or self-regulatory authorities or other third parties in response to subpoenas, court orders, regulatory inquiries, audits, lawful requests for information, or as we otherwise reasonably believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law or to protect the rights, property, safety, interests, or legal positions of Reclaim.org, our Users, or other third parties.

5.5 Corporate Transactions. In connection with any actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, receivership, or similar corporate transaction, in which case the relevant information may be transferred to the counterparty thereto.

5.6 With Your Consent. With your consent or at your direction.


6. Information Security and Safeguards

Reclaim.org maintains a comprehensive information security program incorporating administrative, technical, organizational, and physical safeguards reasonably designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal information processed through the Services. Such safeguards include, without limitation, the use of commercially reasonable encryption protocols for data in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, secure cloud infrastructure, network and endpoint security controls, vulnerability management practices, periodic security assessments, incident response procedures, and ongoing personnel training programs. We continuously evaluate and update our security practices to align with evolving industry standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and we treat the protection of User information as a foundational priority of our business.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Users acknowledge and agree that the transmission of information over the Internet and electronic storage systems generally is subject to inherent risks that cannot be eliminated entirely by any service provider, and accordingly Reclaim.org does not, and could not reasonably be expected to, warrant or guarantee that any particular item of information will remain inaccessible to unauthorized persons under all circumstances.


7. Data Retention

Reclaim.org retains personal information for such periods of time as we determine, in our reasonable discretion, to be necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purposes for which such information was collected, to provide the Services, to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, audit, and recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, and to protect our legal rights and interests. The applicable retention period for any given category of information may vary based on the nature of the information, the purposes for which it is processed, and applicable legal requirements.


8. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

The Services utilize cookies, pixels, web beacons, software development kits, log files, and similar tracking and analytics technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies") for purposes including, without limitation, enabling and supporting core Service functionality, remembering User preferences, analyzing User interactions with the Services, supporting fraud prevention, and facilitating marketing and advertising activities. You may be able to control or disable certain Tracking Technologies through your browser or device settings, although doing so may impair certain functionality of the Services. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control signal.

Depending on the jurisdiction in which you reside and subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, which may include without limitation the right to (a) request access to or a copy of the personal information we hold about you, (b) request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information, (c) request deletion of personal information, (d) object to or restrict certain processing activities, (e) request portability of personal information in a machine-readable format, (f) opt out of certain disclosures of personal information, and (g) lodge a complaint with the applicable supervisory authority. The Services are intended for use solely by individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and are not directed to children. Reclaim.org does not knowingly collect personal information from any child under the age of thirteen (13). The Services are operated from the United States and intended primarily for use by individuals and entities located within the United States. By accessing or using the Services from any location, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer to, processing within, and storage of your information in the United States.


12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links, integrations, or references to websites, applications, content, products, or services operated, owned, or controlled by third parties. Reclaim.org has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, terms of service, or other policies of any such third parties. We strongly encourage Users to review the applicable privacy policies and terms of any third-party services they elect to access or use.


13. Modifications to This Policy

Reclaim.org reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to modify, supplement, or otherwise amend this Policy at any time and from time to time. Any such modifications will be effective upon posting of the revised Policy on the Services, together with an updated "Last Updated" date, or upon such other means of notification as Reclaim.org may reasonably elect. Your continued access to or use of the Services following the effectiveness of any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Policy.
